Patna, June 5: Days after a stone-pelting incident outside his coaching in Patna, ‘Khan Sir’ (originally Faisal Khan) has been booked for allegedly having an involvement in the same incident. Police on Friday stated that Khan Sir was named in the FIR (First Information Report), but did not reveal the specific charges against him. Officials maintained that they would conduct an interrogation with the institute owner as a part of the procedure.
Patna SSP Kartikeya Sharma confirmed that the educator has been named in the FIR, and he will be questioned by the police. He, however, did not specify the charges against Khan.
The Patna Police on Thursday detained two security guards of the Khan Global Studies Institutes that Khan Sir runs. Police said they recovered a viral video, which showed the two guards firing shots during the disturbance on Tuesday night.

On the evening of June 2, a group of 15-20 masked men appeared outside Khan’s coaching centre and picked up an argument with guards stationed outside. The gang tore down posters and flex banners, causing ruckus in the area.
Speaking to the media, Khan had alleged that the members of the rival coaching centre were behind the mischievous act. According to him, the other institute had objected to the lower fees that Khan charges to teach the children from the economically weaker section.
He said the miscreants attacked one of the guards so badly that he had to be admitted to a hospital.
However, Khan later said that only the police investigation would confirm whether firing had
actually taken place.
Meanwhile, the members of the rival coaching centre dismissed the allegation in a press conference on Thursday. They alleged that Khan himself orchestrated the incident.
