New Delhi, June 10: Two CISF personnel sprang into action after a female passenger suddenly collapsed at the check-in area of Mumbai Airport. The officials, who were on duty nearby, immediately administered CPR and provided first aid while awaiting the arrival of the airport's medical team. Their prompt response helped stabilise the passenger's condition until professional medical assistance arrived.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV, and the video has since gone viral on social media.

“A lady passenger at Mumbai Airport experienced a medical emergency in the Security Hold Area. Demonstrating exceptional alertness and professionalism, L/SI (Exe) Anjali Sidh and L/HC (GD) K.U. Sunita immediately administered CPR and provided first aid until the airport medical team arrived, helping stabilise the passenger's condition,” the CISF said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

The CCTV footage shows the woman appearing normal before suddenly losing her balance and collapsing to the ground. The two CISF personnel quickly noticed the situation and rushed to assist her, while other officials also gathered at the scene.

“Their swift and decisive response exemplifies CISF's unwavering commitment to passenger safety and its enduring ethos of rendering service beyond the call of duty—where vigilance is matched by compassion and preparedness,” the CISF added.
