‘Why Didn’t He Stop?’ Woman Biker Alleges Intentional Hit in Gurugram, Accused Arrested
The two videos that have surfaced on social media in relation to the hit-and-run case are adequate proof.

New Delhi, September 15: Shivani Chauhan, a woman sports bike rider who was hit by a car in Gurugram, has released a new video on social media, levelling serious allegations against accused Kalyan Bainsla of deliberately targeting her. Meanwhile, the police have arrested the accused from Rajgarh in Rajasthan on Tuesday.
In the video, Shivani Chauhan, who identifies herself as Sia (insta handle rebelwheels_sia_), questioned why Bainsla did not stop at the scene after his car hit her motorcycle if he was truly distressed by the accident.
Sia’s Claim
According to Sia, there was an intentional attempt to stop her as she was singled out for being a female motorcyclist. She said she could have died, but the accused did not even try to make sure she was okay after the accident.
"I feel ashamed of such people. Women feel unsafe on the roads of Delhi and Gurugram," she continued.
According to her, the two videos that have surfaced in relation to the hit-and-run case are adequate proof. The car struck her bike and the driver fled the scene, as seen in the entire video footage of the accident. She added that people like him should be "taught" how to drive.
A video that was taken by the camera of a rider who was trailing behind is also going viral.
The driver of the car first signals Sia to stop in the video that Instagram user "youknowabhishek_" shared. The accused drove the car in the direction of her sports bike and struck her from the side when she failed to stop. Gurugram is no longer secure for women, the Instagram user said.
Sia, a Delhi resident, contested in the Kalkaji municipal elections in 2022 after completing a course in fashion design. Roshan Chauhan, her father, is an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member.
Charges on the Car Driver
Gurugram police filed a case at the Sector-56 police station after taking suo motu cognisance of the situation. "We have identified the accused, and three special teams have been formed to nab him," stated ACP (Headquarters) Abhilaksh Joshi.
The FIR (First Information Report) has been filed against the accused driver under Section 281 (rash driving) and Section 125 (causing hurt) of the BNS( Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita).
Sia had previously stated that the incident occurred on Sunday as she was riding her Aprilia RS 457 sports bike on Golf Course Road with other riders. Additionally, she said that the car's occupants came up to her and began acting inappropriately.
Sia added that the people inside seemed to be intoxicated.
Bainsla’s Statements
Bainsla acknowledged that he was at blame for the collision, but he denied intentionally hitting her, claiming he "lost control near a U-turn."
Twenty to twenty-two motorcyclists raced by my side. I had just asked the young woman and the young man with her to slow down, not realising that she was riding one of the bikes. "She was turning without checking her mirrors; just then, near a U-turn, I lost control of the car, and the collision occurred. I did not intentionally hit them."
"I acknowledge that it was my fault," he stated.
