United States President Donald Trump recently shared two AI-generated images on his social media platform Truth Social, once again blending political messaging with internet-style visual propaganda and symbolism.

One of the images showed a massive golden dome-like structure placed above the White House with the words “Golden Dome for the White House” written across the picture. The image appeared futuristic and exaggerated, presenting the presidential residence in an almost monarch-like visual tone. Something critics and supporters alike have often associated with Trump’s larger-than-life political branding.
The second image featured Trump towering over Greenland, visually resembling a giant observer looking down at the land while holding onto a mountain. The picture carried the caption “Hello, Greenland,” directly referencing Trump’s long-standing interest in acquiring Greenland from Denmark and bringing the strategically important Arctic territory under American control.

The post has resurfaced discussions around Trump’s earlier proposal to purchase Greenland during his presidency. An idea that had triggered diplomatic tension and global headlines at the time. Danish leaders had publicly rejected the proposal, calling Greenland “not for sale,” while Trump had argued that acquiring the territory would be strategically beneficial for the United States in terms of military positioning, natural resources, and Arctic influence.
The AI-generated images quickly gained traction online, with supporters viewing them as humorous and symbolic expressions of American dominance, while critics described them as bizarre political theatre designed to keep Trump at the centre of online discourse. The visuals also reflect the growing use of artificial intelligence-generated content in modern political communication, where spectacle, virality, and symbolism increasingly shape public attention.
